Stephen Stark is familiar with all aspects of writing and publishing, having both worked in the publishing industry for 4 years (including one year for a literary agent) and published two novels. His second novel was named the New York Times Book Review Notable Book of 1992.
He has also published fiction in the New Yorker and nonfiction in the Poets & Writers Magazine, the New York Times Book Review, the Washington Post Book World, and elsewhere.
Mr. Stark was a 1993-94 NEA Fellow in Fiction Writing. Currently, he is the program administrator and a lecturer in the Creative Writing Program and the University of Houston. Occasionally, he gives seminars for authors on how to get their work published.
This is the latest in a long line of shareware programs written by John Lindal for Macintosh computers. Other programs by Mr. Lindal include the Teacher’s Grading Program II, a program that helps teachers keep track of their students’ grades, and Tester, which helps teachers create tests and helps students practice for tests.
